THE INSPIRATION

Why Mujo was born

The Mujo journey begins in 2021, a pivotal year when I welcomed the beautiful chaos of motherhood into my life. Even though I was so in love with my new baby, the harsh reality of becoming a parent also juggling a career had me navigating through life like a sleep-deprived zombie. It was also during this time that my body decided to reject caffeine. The mental and physical jitters, anxiety, and the persistent stomach aches became a norm every morning. I knew that this coffee-induced rollercoaster wasn't sustainable so I looked for alternatives.

Beyond the ordinary

Existing coffee alternatives and nootropic pills left much to be desired. Some were chalky or compromised on ingredient quality. That's when I embarked on my journey as a kitchen alchemist, a passion deeply rooted in my family history. I was determined to craft something clean, truly powerful, and exceptional, so I scoured the globe for premium-grade functional mushrooms and adaptogens and leaned on science to fine-tune the dosages and bioavailability.
